Life has been like cupcakes!

Life has been like a couple of cupcakes! I will now proceed with a detailed explanation of my analogy!

------------------------------------------------------>
Here we see 2 cupcakes just sitting there so cutesy like full of excitement and wonder with every bite! These cupcakes have a beautiful chocolate shell covering a penut butter-confectioner's sugar concocted frosting worth tasting as the topping to the tasty filling of the chocolate cupcake. With matching outfits, these cupcakes love hanging out together.

<------------------------------------------------------
Here we see two people just sitting there so cutesy like full of excitement and wonder with every moment! These people are sitting in a beautiful surrounding with personalities worth hanging with (well at least we think so!) as a topping to our filling friendship qualities. With matching outfits these two cupcakes love hanging out together.

p.s. I know this picture was used last time but it just worked so well!

Part of the reason our life has been so delicious is because we have finally moved all of these boulders away from behind our house so that our view of... what is that you say? You want to know what our view is from behind that fixer-upper is? Well here you go, you asked for it! We have been clearing these boulders from behind our fixer-upper to improve the view of our neighbors white house! Here is a picture!

Cool huh! Our neighbor has the coolest house and is very patriotic! His name is Barney Omaha. Sometimes we call him President O.

This is just one of the reasons why life has been like getting     full on cupcakes! Yum!

We bought a nice "fix-er-upper"

The other nigh I received a kind nudge, nay a plea to the fact that this documentation of our life is becoming extremely outdated! Today I honor the friend with this publication, Happy Birthday Kylie Anne Bills, our Russian friend! I will proceed to explain a little about our lives since it has been quite some time since our last update. To all our followers we begin by expressing our deep regrets and urging your forgiveness. We attribute our lack of diligence to this blog to that terribly present foe, procrastination. Although procrastination is an ever-present part of our relationship to this blog, we have been seeing to making our life full of adventure. I will now proceed to give an accounting of the last few months.

After our decision to become parents of our sea monkey children we were struck with sudden tragedy. We lost all of our countless sea monkeys to a plague known as "Morior Laetus" or in common tongue "I die happy". Fortunately it is a disease that causes the brain to secrete the chemical dopamine which is part of reward driven learning and is usually released during times of stress relief, it also causes your blood pressure to go up along with your pulse. Our children were fortunate enough to have there bodies shut down while at the same time feeling a sense of happiness and content. They all lived such noble lives! Never speaking out any lies or blaspheme! In fact living a life in silence, almost as if it were in a bubble.

We are grateful for that experience and we hope that we can in the future give more joy to those around us including our future kids. I do not know when we will be prepared to have children again but we are always looking to improve our lives so that we may be prepared.

We made one big step in improving our situation. It is nice because it has been keeping us busy and our minds off the difficult challenges that we have faced. We decided to buy a nice "fix-er-upper"! We love it! It is a nice spacious home with a good sun roof!

Yes, yes you might ask, "Do you know how to do all the repairs?" My response to all the skeptics is with correcting your question. Your question should have been, can you google or youtube anything you want about how to fix this place up? My answer to that question is a resounding "Yes!"

For example, If you want to learn how to drywall visit here: http://www.drywall-how-to.com/

For all your window instillation needs: http://www.thisoldhouse.com/toh/how-to/intro/0,,218006,00.html

For plumbing: http://www.doityourself.com/scat/plumbing/#b

I mean it only takes 5 minutes to build a pool! www.youtube.com/watch?v=CS5ZInrs60Q

The list goes on and on and yes there are somethings that we will hire others for but it will be a fun project!

Here is a picture of us in front of our new place!

I don't want to overwhelm you with too much stuff, but just know that we are Shakin' it up!

We hope to hear from you soon and we love you!

Goodbye Contortion, Hello Children of Our Own!!

Well thank you for all support in our cause of contortion. It was quite exhilarating and very demanding. So demanding in fact that, well as you can see from the pictures (the first is the original photo the next is for those of you who are challenged when it comes to the color green and the third photo is for those of you who are challenged when it comes to the color purple. We hope we have all our fans covered but in case of the very unlikely chance that we have misjudged, shoot us a comment and we can get a picture with a different colored arrow lickity split!) *I know it was a big inserted comment there but I am just going to continue on with the sentence* that Melanie caught a rather rare disease which is only contracted by the combination of vigorous contortion training, a banana smoothie, a swiss freshwater fish (refer to our last post, this is where we were recuperating on a daily basis), and a swiss alphorn.

So now you are wondering how all of these things fit in the picture of why Melanie's leg is swollen to the point where we had to retire from our contortionist expedition. Well here goes the explanation:

On day 4 we were ahead of schedule and had reached 10 out of our 12 weekly goals and decided to celebrate with the banana smoothie, this was the first mistake. The banana smoothie, a doctor informed us, had many factors which contributed to this unfortunate event, it first did not have enough anti-oxidants, too much sugar, she also wasn't use to how smooth the smoothies are in switzerland, much more smooth than in america, and it also is an irrisible attractor fot the great fish of switzerland. Next the swiss freshwater fish.
I will not divulge this particular fish's name since we still are friends and it was an accident. We had seen this fish for the previous days and he had become quite friendly with us and even told us of his relationships with the other fish, he was funny, oh the stories he would tell. Oh Philip, good luck with Latisha the fish fillet! We didn't have the heart to tell him that she no longer responded because she was breaded and most likely consumed by the local swiss traditional family who lives on the edge of the lake. So after the banana smoothie Phillip and us learned of his uncontrollable reaction to smoothies (that is the funny thing, it wasn't even the bananas!). Philip with this uncontrollable desire for smoothies proceeded to tickle Melanie's feet with a peculiar affinity to her left leg while we were wading through the Swiss lakes. We gathered more information concerning the contribution of this phase of the disease production from the doctor, which was that the tickling caused the nerves in Melanie's legs to become unstable for the next 23 hours. As we have mentioned we have been a part of vigorous training.

So the next day before we went training we went to the local musician to inquire about the scrubs that look so much like Melanie's, which we thought he might have taken them from her but later found out that he also was taking a CNA class. We were worried we didn't know how Melanie was going to do her clinicals without them. During the discussion we learned about the Swiss Alphorn and we had a go at it, this was the cause of fatigue for us before we started our daily training, I mean did you see how big that was??? Woof! Then during the contortion training she put too much stress on the lymphatic vessels. BAM!!! A variant of the disease known as LYMPHEDEMA.

We decided that the next chapter of our life should be having children. Though we were not expecting them this fast in our young and vibrant marriage. It happened, Sea Monkey children! (See all 6 pictures of us on the couch! Those pictures may be found at the beginning and end of this post! They are in the tank, sea'ing!) We are proud supporting parents and feed them every two days. We are so grateful for the support and love that all of you have given us during these big changes in our life! Thanks to YOU!!!!

Oh yeah and a Shout out to our followers! Janet Burton, Elyse Harris and Emily Donna!

Guinness Book of World Records!

Guinness book of world records, here we come! Melanie and I signed up for a program that helps us to pick a guinness record, train and break it so that we can become famous! This is the goal

http://www.guinnessworldrecords.com/three-contortionists-in-a-box-duration/

That is why I put 3 pictures to show that we are going to triple the record! There are only two of us right now but we are planning to hire an asian acrobat to join us so we can win for sure!

I know in the picture we are all smiles but this is hard work: every day we wake up at 4:00 a.m. and we have to stretch for 6 hours before our 80 Calorie breakfast at 10:00. Then for the next hour we dive into the psychology of a contortionist. When you sit crammed into a box for over 6 minutes the mind starts to break down and the stress becomes unbearable unless you use the skills of occlumency to  build barriers around the psyche. Professor Snaper has been quite influential in our progress in this field. For some reason though he keeps making cynical comments about my father... anyways that is besides the point, I know he will be great because the review by the Headmaster were great!

As we sit in various sizes and shapes of boxes and containers for the next 6 hours we like to play different games like wizard's chess, 20 questions and thumb wars (when they allow us to be close enough to hold hands! That is the best!

Then we eat dinner and let our bodies recuperate as we get to stretch in the waters of the lakes in switzerland. I dont know if your supposed to know where we are but dont tell anyone! Well I gotta go it is almost time to go and sleep in my box which is in the cupboard under the stairs. Night!
